Medical insurance to reach all farmers in Tianjin

BEIJING, Sep. 18 -- Every farmer in Tianjian, the coastal city of
northern China, is expected to enjoy medical insurance by 2007,
thanks to the establishment of a new type of rural cooperative
medical system.

1st clinical phase of AIDS vaccine test nears end

NANNING, Sept. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Fifteen volunteers were injected
with Chinese home made AIDS vaccine Sunday in Nanning, capital of
south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a signal China's
phase one AIDS vaccine trial test has entered the final phase, said
a Chinese medical expert.

Gov't buys 305m condoms for AIDS prevention
