Chinese Organizations                                                                       International Organizations

AIDS Action Network (AIZHI): is a one person’s effort with the domestic and international funding since 1994. It was reorganized in 2002 as an independent NGO. It aims at improving the society’s conscientiousness and understanding in HIV/AIDS. It seeks cooperation with domestic and international organizations in promoting AIDS education to ordinary Chinese people. Chinese version only.

AIDS Concern is Hong-Kong's first non-governmental AIDS service organization. Founded in 1990, it provides support services for people with HIV/AIDS and sets up outreach prevention programs.  AIDS Concern also supports and facilitates community-participation in the planning and delivery of AIDS prevention and care services. AIDS Online is Funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund and hosted by the Chinese Foundation for Prevention of Sex Transmitted Diseases and AIDS. Providing AIDS-related education, platform for people to exchange and communicate issued related AIDS and demonstrating humanitarian care. Chinese version only.

Baicheng Pharmaceutical Company contains the information of the Center of Rescue AIDS. The center was first established in the end of 1980’s by Chinese medical experts who return from international in Africa, mainly engaged in R&D in AIDS medicines. The website provides on-line treatment and diagnosis as well common knowledge of AIDS and AIDS forum. Chinese version only.

Beijing Association for HIV/AIDS Prevention is a Chinese NGO. It was established in Nov 1993 and calls for doctors and society to help AIDS patients by joining the education, consultation and R&D in AIDS. Chinese version only.

China AIDS Network is a Beijing-based website which provides news, stories, medical, legal information related to HIV/AIDS in China, offering on line consultation in HIV/AIDS. Chinese version only.

China HIV/AIDS Information Network (CHAIN) is an open and participatory organization which works on behalf of all relevant governmental and nongovernmental organizations, professionals and concerned individuals requiring access to the most current HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness information in China . Established in 2003 as an independent government organization, CHAIN is administratively attached to the Ministry of Health's (MOH) Chinese Center for Disease Control (CCDC) and physically located in the China Health Education Institute (IHE).

China AIDS Prevention Network The website aims to provide general readers with information relating to HIV/AIDS and on line hospitals. Chinese version only.

Dongzhen - AIDS Orphan Support Project  is a grassroots, non-government organization that is attempting to provide care for the AIDS orphans of Henan Province.  The project consist of two parts: one is One-Help-One Mode, and the other is Dongzhen Home (an orphanage). [English Version]

HomeAIDS is an HIV/AIDS collaborative program between The Salvation Army Hong Kong & Macau and Yunnan Red Cross Society, funded by AusAID and The Salvation Army Australia. This project was officially activated on 14 April 2002. HomeAIDS is an AIDS Education & Facilitation Center aiming at facilitating and enhancing the community’s response to HIV/AIDS. Mangrove Support Group is based in Beijing China's first national support group for people living with AIDS.

National Center for STD and AIDS Prevention Control The Comprehensive International Program for Research on AIDS (CIPRA) is an initiative sponsored by U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). The CIPRA initiative will provide long-term support for laboratory and clinical studies that are necessary to lay the foundation for research on practical and affordable methods for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in international settings, especially in developing regions. Positive Art Workshop focuses on painting and calligraphy techniques and through these outlets, have given people living with HIV/AIDS in China a tool to express their voices and feelings. Chinese and English versions.

Same Will Network provides medical research and developments related to HIV/AIDS, create and facilitate a community for patients, doctors and other people to exchange their concerns and information about HIV/AIDS. Chinese version only.

Shanghai Desano Pharmaceutical Company provides medical information, stories and news related to HIV/AIDS. It focuses on developments of medicines and medical treatment of HIV/AIDS. Chinese version only.
